A ruling on Serena Williams' U.S. Open tirade is expected in the next two weeks.
United States Tennis Association president Lucy Garvin told The Associated Press on Friday that Grand Slam administrator Bill Babcock has completed his investigation and a ruling is expected soon.
Garvin said she expects a decision in "no more than two weeks" and it "could be sooner."

After two consecutive years of rain-delayed singles finals, the U.S. Open is not committed to adding a roof.
And despite grousing by players about the men's semifinals and final on back-to-back days — unlike the other Grand Slam tournaments — organizers are not seriously looking at tweaking their schedule.
While rain wreaked havoc with the U.S. Open again Saturday, tournament officials faced questions on everything from improvements for the tennis center to the Grand Slam's three-day first round.

"It will be some time before there's any decision made on whether or not to go forward with the roof," U.S. Tennis Association executive director Gordon Smith said.

Venus Williams is participating in the U.S. Open tennis tournament, which kicked off on Monday, with more than just her game.
Williams, who launched her own fashion collection EleVen in 2007, is also bringing her design acumen to this year's official U.S. Open merchandise with an official U.S. Open t-shirt that is eco-friendly and will be sold at the tournament and USOpen.org.
Williams said the piece combines three of her interests — "tennis, fashion and the environment," she said.
